How to Find Creators on MyFans: Search, Tags, and Rankings

The genre overview covers what's out there. This is about actually finding it. The search, genre, tag and viewing-setting rules below come from MyFans' own help pages, checked on 10 October 2026; the ranking tabs are what a logged-in account showed the same day.

The explore/search tab

MyFans' search covers four things: genres, tags, creators, and posts. Genres and tags can be combined, up to three conditions in one search. This is the fastest route if you already know roughly what you're looking for rather than browsing to see what exists.

Genres come from a fixed list that MyFans maintains and reviews; tags are whatever the creator typed, up to 20 a post. The genre overview shows the list.

Tags

Tags work both broad and narrow. A creator might tag a post with something popular and general to reach a wide audience, or tag it with something very specific to their own niche so the people who want exactly that can find it. Practically, this means two different ways to search:

• Broad tags surface a lot of creators in a general category — useful if you're still figuring out what you like.
• Specific or niche tags get you fewer, more precisely matched results — useful once you know exactly what you're after.

If a broad tag search feels overwhelming, narrowing to a more specific term usually works better than scrolling further.

Rankings

MyFans ranks three things — posts, gacha, and creators — and each can be viewed as a daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly ranking. There are rankings by genre too: MyFans' help page says the popular genres are on the ranking page, and the rest are reached from the search results. It's a fast way to see what's currently active rather than digging through search results one tag at a time.

Worth knowing: MyFans doesn't publish how the rankings are calculated. Its help page says only that they update daily and weigh several factors together. So treat a ranking as "currently getting attention" rather than "the best fit for you."

The viewing setting

MyFans has a setting that decides which content you're shown, with three choices: general adult (content for people attracted to women), gay / BL (content for people attracted to men), and all ages. To change it, log in, open Home, choose the icon at the top right, pick one, and apply.

Check it before you search — results, rankings and the genre list all follow it. One trap: on the all-ages setting, adult posts are hidden, including ones you've already bought. If a purchase seems to have vanished, look here first.

A practical way to start

1. Use a broad tag or the explore tab first, just to get a sense of what's active.
2. Follow a few creators that look interesting, or save (bookmark) their posts, rather than subscribing immediately. Outside the all-ages setting, every video post has to carry a sample of up to five minutes, shown to people who haven't bought it — watch that before you pay.
3. Narrow with more specific tags once you know what you're actually looking for.
4. Check rankings periodically rather than relying on them as your only discovery method — they surface what's currently popular, not necessarily what you'd personally enjoy most.
